Calgary Minor Soccer Association (CMSA) has aligned its’ two-season programming to complement the ADPL programming, giving our players clear pathways and opportunities to every level of competition.

For this reason, all CMSA outdoor programming will run from the end of April until no later than the end of July (staggered end dates based on age/tier/provincial championships).

This should allow everyone access to the level of competition they are working towards.

The Alberta Player Development Program (APDL) kicked off its’ year-round games program running September through July followed by the Canada Soccer Player Development Program Championship in August.

Grassroots League Expansion 

The NW location of the Grassroots League will see the U7/U8 groups playing in the Varsity community and the U9s playing out of Dalhousie. Please check the schedules for the exact location. 

Re-Introduction to Fall Series

Calgary Minor Soccer Association is working with its Member Clubs to bring the Fall Series competition to you in September.  This competition will be held on 2 separate weekends and is an optional registration ($$) to participate.

We are excited to share the details with you as soon as they are finalized.  This series will be for CMSA league participants (including our out-of-district members) only.  Expect a tournament atmosphere without the traditional tournament game formatting.

U10 – U12 – September 13 – 15, 2024
U13 – U19 – September 20 – 22, 2024

Zero Tolerance for Referee Abuse 

Referees are a valuable part of the soccer community and CMSA is standing with them in taking a Zero-Tolerance approach to any referee abuse. To report any referee abuse please CLICK HERE.

Additional powers will be given to referees to call timeouts in games or to abandon matches all together if they feel they are being abused. To learn more CLICK HERE.
