Trials for the 2026 Alberta Summer Games

The Alberta Summer Games are happening July 16 - 19, 2026 in Strathcona County, and CMSA is supporting the Calgary Zone boys and girls teams!

The games are an Alberta Soccer directed and funded program. CMSA supports operations with coach and player selections and the on-field results. Alberta Soccer manages the finances, sets dates, and dictates to CMSA what and when these things happen.

CMSA is encouraging any players born between Jan. 1, 2012 and Dec. 31, 2013, who play at the  Tier 1 or Tier 2 level to register. Players on APDL rosters are not eligible to play. Should there be players in Tier 3 or 4 wishing to attend the trials, please consult your club's Technical Director prior to registering. They should be able to give you guidance on whether this is the right event for you.

Criteria to play for the Calgary Zone Alberta Summer Games team:

• Born between Jan. 1, 2012 and Dec. 31, 2013
• Registered in a CMSA club for Outdoor 2026
  • If not registered for the Outdoor 2026 season, a $30.00 fee will be paid to Alberta Soccer a minimum of five (5) working days before the evaluation. Call 780-474-2200 for more information.
• Resident of Calgary with a current and valid home address

  • If you do not have a Calgary address, please contact Aaron Alexander at aalexander@albertasoccer.com to contact your Zone representative and attend their trials.

BOYS:

• April 7th - Boys Trial 1
  • 5:30PM - 9:30PM
• April 15th - Boys Trial 2
  • 5:30PM - 9:30PM
• April 22nd - Boys Trial 3 (INVITE ONLY)
  • 5:30PM - 9:30PM

GIRLS:

• April 9th - Girls Trial 1
  • 5:30PM - 9:30PM 
• April 16th - Girls Trial 2
  • 5:30PM - 9:30PM
• April 23rd - Girls Trial 3 (INVITE ONLY)
  • 5:30PM - 9:30PM

All trials will be at the Shane Homes West Soccer Center, with more details provided closer to the event to those who register.
