Member of the Month

Once a month, CMSA honours one member from our community who has gone above and beyond to help grow the sport of soccer in our city. CMSA's Spotlight Member of the month is Jesus Melo - Calgary South West United's Grassroots Director.

"Melo" has been committed to SWU players for many years, with a constant smile on his face. His passion and care for the his players and the game are contagious and he is renowned in the community for his ability to build rapport with every child he interacts with. His inclusivity and ability to inspire attracts newcomers to the sport. He seems to always help out where needed, despite coaching his own teams and enjoying his own kids. SWU and community are so lucky to have him!
