Calgary Minor Soccer Association (CMSA) has partnered with South Centre Volkswagen to bring a co-branded Volkswagen Atlas from vision to reality. The 3-row sport-utility vehicle was recently outfitted with CMSA and South Centre VW decals, including the designation of “Official Dealership of Calgary Minor Soccer Association” written on the rear hatch.

This Community Cruiser has been provided to CMSA year-round and will be seen across the city and at key CMSA events. Each side of the Community Cruiser is adorned with a vibrant green soccer pitch, which shows off the brand new CMSA logo as it extends from the top of the rear hatch all the way to the front wheel well.

“Soccer is the fastest growing sport in Canada, and we’re excited to start this partnership with the Wood Automotive Group. We can’t wait to see this driving around our community,” said CMSA Executive Director Carlo Bruneau. “One of our main goals is to show the unity and pathway from Grassroots all the way to the professional level.” Cavalry FC’s co-branded Atlas was also unveiled with a matte red wrap and features players from the Canadian Premier League team on each side of the vehicle.

The 2023 Volkswagen Atlas is a modern mid-sized SUV with space to seat up to seven passengers. Its main usage with CMSA will be to transport event assets and soccer equipment to and from activations year-round. The capable Atlas is powered by either a 235-horsepower turbocharged engine or an optional 276-hp V-6 which boasts a 5,000-lb towing capacity.
